Mrs Niti Mahendra is an Alumna of Bal Bharati public school , New Delhi , a graduate and post graduate in mathematics from Miranda House college ,Delhi university ( coincidently India’s top ranking college in Govt of India survey for last many years ) . She has a professional degree in teaching . Has completed one year action research from NCERT in 2020, a certificate from IIM Kozikode in leadership in schools in 2023 and is recently selected by Harvard Business school to pursue a certification in leadership staring January 2024 .She has close to 10 certifications in the field of guidance and counselling and conducts career counselling session for students not only from her school but other schools as well with NO cost involved . She is a passionate theater artist , script writer with street theater closer to her heart . She writes poems whenever she gets time and has close to 12 poems to her credit .She has also completed her advanced story telling diploma from Kathalaya . She is currently on her journey into the field of research in education and leadership and very recently her first research paper got awarded in a national conference organized by CBSE .
She has 30 years of teaching and 20 years of administrative experience in various elite schools of India like – DPS NCR Delhi , Amity International school Noida , Birla Vidya niketan Delhi , Bharatiya vidya bhavan Jaipur , DPS Mangalore , Padma sheshadari LLA Bangalore and Edify school Bengaluru. She has written content books for 3C curriculum for kindergarten to grade 8 based on IB methodology and NCERT content guidelines and she also wrote a few modules in physics and maths for CBSEi curriculum in year 2015 . Her articles have featured in many publications including Times of India, Mentor magazine , Brainfeed magazine etc .
She is a passionate trainer with 19 years of experience in training teachers , students , corporates, MBA colleges , postal department of India etc. She has been awarded with Top school educator, impactful leader , effective teacher trainer ,commendable service in the field of education by various organizations like ASSOCHAM, DIDAC, IPN, Taylor’s University, Rotary club Bangalore south etc. and featured in Brainfeed magazine as transformational leader in Education. She was nominated for best principal by Min of HRD in 2012 from Bangalore region. She is often a part of panels , conferences, Doordarshan talk shows , Sahara channel etc as a guest speaker , panelist or moderator . She is an animal lover and rescuer and her other interest include designing positive learning spaces . Many of her students are currently riding the peaks of success in varied domains like – a young politician, CEO of an IT company , Many doctors, many engineers , many IAS , many successful business persons , many effective teachers , a director of competition commission of India to mention a few .
