SSP (11 & 12)

The Secondary School Program (SSP) at Edify Schools is designed for students aged 11 to 17 years. The program focuses on helping learners develop strong reasoning skills, make educated guesses, distinguish facts from fiction, and think more abstractly. It encourages them to handle hypothetical situations, define their future goals, consider others’ opinions during decision-making, understand the consequences of actions, and build a clear sense of right and wrong. Students achieve these outcomes through both objective and subjective learning experiences across various disciplines.

The curriculum connects multiple subjects to promote multi-dimensional thinking. It encourages students to observe, ask questions, research, plan investigations, test hypotheses, and communicate findings with evidence. Moreover, they learn to evaluate alternative explanations and link their academic knowledge with real-life social experiences.

To ensure holistic growth, Edify introduces students to a wide range of innovative programs that extend beyond the classroom. These include sports education, value education, life skills, community service, visual and performing arts, reading initiatives like Drop Everything and Read, exchange programs, personality development, and foreign languages.

Furthermore, students develop non-verbal communication skills through dance, dramatics, art, and music, which form an integral part of the regular coursework. Edify Schools also provide career guidance through a dedicated counseling cell. Additionally, an on-campus psychologist supports emotional well-being and helps build resilient individuals.

To make university applications smoother, university fairs are regularly organized. As a result, students gain better exposure and secure placements in top universities.
