Primary School Program (PSP 1–5)
Building Strong Foundations through the Edify School Primary School Program
The Edify School Primary School Program is designed for students aged 5–11 years. This stage builds strong academic and personal foundations essential for higher education. The program helps students develop reflective thinking and find creative solutions to real-world problems through integrated, transdisciplinary learning.
The structured 3C curriculum follows an inquiry-based approach to strengthen both competency and character. It nurtures qualities such as open-mindedness, confidence, adaptability, and resilience—key traits for success in today’s competitive world.
Transdisciplinary Learning Approach in Edify School Primary School Program
The curriculum includes six inquiry modules that promote progressive, hands-on learning. Students take active ownership of their learning process while mastering essential language skills such as listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
Through interactive lessons, they learn to comprehend and analyze texts, think critically, and use language creatively in everyday communication and performances.
Language and Cultural Understanding
Edify School promotes cross-cultural understanding through the Primary School Program. Students learn to appreciate their own culture and respect differences among languages and traditions. This approach helps them grow into empathetic, globally aware citizens.
Mathematical and Logical Development
By the end of the Edify School Primary School Program, students gain a deep understanding of the numeration system. They perform everyday mathematical operations, apply spatial vocabulary, and connect logical reasoning to real-life situations. They also learn to collect, represent, and interpret data and recognize simple patterns.
Environmental and Social Learning (EVS)
EVS lessons focus on developing observation, discussion, expression, classification, questioning, and analytical skills. Students also practice cooperation, experimentation, and concern for justice and equality.
Each activity in the classroom aligns with the child’s developmental milestones. Students enhance fine motor skills through writing and practical tasks. They also improve decision-making, communication, and teamwork through peer-based learning and participation.
