Mrs. Niti Mahendra, a product of Bal Bharati School of Delhi, Post Graduate in Mathematics from Miranda house, Delhi University, with a degree in education has close to 28 years of experience in the field of education. She started her journey as a teacher of mathematics for grade eleven at a school in Delhi, taught mathematics in Birla Vidyaniketan, Amity International, Vishwa Bharati, DPS for 14 years as PGT.Started working as administrator at DPS greater Noida as Head Mistress (Pre Primary and Primary), Principal DPS, Suratkal, Mangalore. She has conducted many workshops for evaluation of a teachers on activity based teaching, role of a teacher, positive attitude, adapting to change, CCE, Blooms Taxonomy, lesson planner etc.

Her first appointment as a principal was at Jaipur – Bharati vidya Bhavans Vidyashram which is a day boarding cum residential school, with 23 acres campus and residential facility for 400 students. She Handled 5 institutions in Jaipur including — a Gandhi computer institute, an MBA college (evening), an auditorium etc, she also contributed to setting up of the second branch of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at Jaipur. She has been on panel of CBSE for affiliations, Counsellor for CBSE, regional coordinator for entrance examinations, worked with American cancer society for making schools tobacco free in Jaipur. She was a regular with Doordarshan and other channels as a panel speaker for its various shows.

She was the founder principal of Edify School at kanakpura Main Road and in year 2011 she was awarded by Rotary south for her contribution in the field of education. Under her leadership Edify school has been awarded with many awards. She was also nominated for CBSE principal’s award by the ministry of HRD. She is a trained master trainer for CBSE teachers. She recently completed her action research from NCERT.

She has currently been designated as the Director – Academics & Operations of Edify School, A unit of VVN Trust.
