3rd Annual Sports Day

Edify School celebrated its third Annual Sports Day on 20th January, 2018 amidst great mirth, verve and camaraderie. The chief guest for the day was Mr. Surjeet Singh, a renowned para-athlete.
Ms. Neelam Sharma, the Administrator, Secondary warmly welcomed the guests and gathering to the much awaited sports carnival. The rendition of the school song was followed by the Inter-House March Past, wherein the four houses eyed for the first place. The Chief Guest in his speech urged the parents to motivate their children to participate in sports with the same sincerity and dedication which they show towards academics. The bharatanatyam performance by the students allured everyone’s attention and appreciation. The Meet was declared open by the Chief Guest. All the participants took oath administered by the principal pledging to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship within them.
The highly awaited athletic events were the best platforms to display the competitiveness among the Edifiers. The bright sunshine lifted the spirits of all present, inspiring the participants to give their best in each event. The audience also witnessed various colourful displays and mass drills of yoga, dumbbells, etc. by the secondary students. Sack-race for parents and musical chair for teachers ensured the participation of all in the grand event. At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as the Earth House emerged as House Champions.
