To ignite the fire of curiosity in young minds, Edify School Kanakapura Main Road organized a ‘Social Science Exhibition’ on Saturday 23rd December, 2017. The theme of the event was – Akhand Bharath (Undivided/Indestructible India). Students from IK-I to grade IX actively took part in the same.
Ms Pamela Ghosh, the Principal, Edify School Bengaluru inaugurated the event. The most awaited Social Science Exhibition commenced with the lighting of lamp, followed by the invocation song and cultural programme by secondary students. The Exhibition showcased various projects and models prepared by the students as a part of their project-based learning methodology. The projects and models put on display were related to the field of Social Studies, encompassing the subjects History, Civics, Geography and Disaster Management. Tiny geniuses of IKs and primary created a magical effect with their displays. They were super confident with the concepts and their communication skills. The displays of the students belonging to grades VI to IX took the exhibition to a different level altogether. They too received a very positive feedback from the parents.
The Social Science exhibition gave the students a chance to explore experiment, question, discover and fall in love with the subject. It turned out to be a huge success. Everyone was truly delighted to see all the exhibits that displayed the commitment, hard work, creativity and team work of the students.
