IK’s - Special Assembly

Teachers and Students of IK have presented a Special Assembly on 20th September, 2017.The Assembly began with the School Song followed by the Pledge.

Talk on East Indian states: Mizoram and West Bengal was given by Ms. Divya K.and Ms.Radha S.They enlightened students with their Traditional Dress, Culture, Festivals celebrated, Language and Dances.

This was followed by a talk on Dusshera celebration by Ms. Darshana P narrating the importance of the festival. Ms Nagasudha S explained the importance of Onam festival to the students followed by a dance performance by IK3.

Hindi Diwas serves to promote and propagate the Hindi language. Students of IK3 presented ‘Varna Mala’, emphasizing the importance of our national language. Bakrid celebration by IK’s was done with great enthusiasm. Students were dressed up in Muslim attire and offered prayers or 'Dua'.

The assembly ended with a beautifully song on the Teachers, by the children of IK 2A followed by Prize distribution of Solo Dance Competition and National Anthem.
