Edify School believes that the students should become global citizens while retaining their traditional values. Keeping this in mind, the important International/National Days and Festivals are celebrated in the school. The essence of the festival and the special days are portrayed in the special assemblies through Talk, Role Play and Dance presentation.
Tiny Tots had their Special Assembly on 18th July, 2017. All the students were energized to be a part of it. The soulful singing of the School Song and the solemn pledge was followed by a Shloka by IK IIC students. To spread Awareness about Tiger conservation, students of IK IIA presented a Tiger Dance. Students of IK I (A and B) gave a dance performance on Doctor’s Day as well. This was followed by a dance by IK IIIC depicting the culture of the state of Uttarakhand and IK IIC on Chandigarh. Students of IK IIB presented a Fancy Dress, highlighting the various costumes from the state of Uttar Pradesh.
IK IIB presented a talk on the famous sports person like Kapil Dev, Sania Nehwal, Geeta Phogat and Vijendra Singh. IK IIIA gave a colorful performance on Kashmiri Dance presenting the culture and handicraft from Kashmir. Prizes were distributed to the winners of Running Race Competition conducted in the month of June. The assembly ended with the National Anthem.
