Aashirvachanam- Grade 10
May the sun bring you new energy by day, may the moon softly restore you by night, may the rain wash away your worries, may the breeze blow new strength into your being, may you walk gently through the world and know it's beauty all the days of your life.
The outgoing grade X students of Edify School, Kanakapura Road were bestowed with showers of blessing by the teachers and parents on 12 February 2018 in a grand ceremony held at VVN Auditorium in Vasavi Vidya Nikethan. The Aashirvachanam started with the lighting of the lamp followed by the rendition of an invocation song and versus from Holy Scriptures by teachers to enlighten the students.
Ms. Neelam Sharma, AA Secondary warmly welcomed the gathering. Speaking on the occasion, the principal, Ms. Pamila Ghosh wished the outgoing students all the best. She hoped that the blessings showered by everyone would inflame the knowledge and the kindle the wisdom acquired by them. Ms. Daisy Bastian, the Headmistress urged the students to believe in themselves and to follow their dreams to accomplish their goals.
The graduation ceremony also witnessed the esteemed presence of Mr. B S Arun Kumar, President VVN Trust and Mr. Dr. K Sheshamurthy the Chief Executive Academic Administrator of VVN Trust. Addressing the audience, Shri. B.S. Arun Kumar appreciated the determination and passion of the students in planning to pursue heterogeneous careers as they grow up. The alumni, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff were also present on the occasion. All the teachers showered their blessings on the students, wishing them a bright future. As a token of remembrance, they were given a memento and citation.
It was a moment of reliving the good memories they had of the school and their companions and teachers. Students reminisced their fun-filled days in school and expressed how difficult it would be for them to go out of the portals of their alma mater. The programme concluded with a song sung by grade X students and vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Kalyani S.
